Trouts for Everyone
by Dan Schwartz
I wanted to live in the land of bad decisions. In order to live in the land of bad decisions, you have to make some bad decisions.
I took all the trout. All of it. From a river. From a supermarket. From an ocean. From your plate. And then I gave it to everyone. I had a truck. An 18-wheeler filled with trout. I drove to every country. (Some of this involved a boat.) And I gave you a trout. Yes, I gave it back to you, the one I took from your plate. I am the one who has them all, but they are for everyone. I suppose it is a shame that there will never be a trout again. But that's why we have to enjoy things while they last.
